and Charleston, SC native Willie Driffen. Willie performs with his own jazz combo in
clubs around the South.
- •The newest member of the Groove Band is
Fatback’s young protégé, Zee Slaughter.
By
the time he started high school, had already put some years in playing blues
and jazz in Mac’s on Main and
other venues in Columbia. Zee switches
between guitar, saxophones and bass during the shows and adds vocals.
